Dr. Joseph Slupsky

For this instalment of the BCI's Thursday Seminar Series, we're pleased to welcome Dr. Joseph Slupsky from the University of Liverpool to present. Joseph's research focuses on understanding the pathophysiological events that give the malignant cells in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) and other B-cell lymphomas their growth advantage. His talk is entitled:

"Wagging the dog?The relationship between malignant cell phenotype and antigen receptor signalling in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia."

Joint Pancreas Meeting

Marie Kveiborg

For this instalment of the BCI's Thursday Seminar Series, we welcome Marie Kveiborg from the University of Copenhagen to present. Marie's research is dedicated to understanding the role and regulation of cell surface proteins in tumour progression; the importance of ADAM proteases, their complex network of interaction partners and substrates, and their control by intracellular signalling and trafficking pathways. The title of her talk is:

"ADAM proteases in cancer - the importance of intracellular protein trafficking"
