Elucidating the in vivo effect of FAK mutations on angiogenesis.

My projects involve a series of endothelial-cell specific point mutant FAK-knockin mice used to dissect the roles of kinase and non-kinase motifs of FAK in controlling physiological angiogenesis in vivo.

Overall my goal is to understand how to best control tumour blood vessels in the regulation of cancer.
