I am a molecular biologist and geneticist with a strong interest in cancers of the gastrointestinal tract.

My work with the Epithelial Stem Cells Group focuses on the clonal evolution of colorectal cancers and their premalignant precursors (adenomas). I use histology and next generation sequencing technologies to examine changes in genomic and mitochondrial DNA from single cancer and adenoma glands in exquisite detail.
