"Besides practical training at the simulation centre at Barts Cancer Institute and immersion in the operating theatre at the Royal London Hospital, we received training about literature search and medical writing. These skills are fundamental in my career as a researcher. With the research and surgical skills gained during this MSc, I aim to participate in the training of the next generation of general and laparoscopic surgeons of Senegal and Africa; to give better access to surgery for all my community."
